1. I/We have read the regulations issued for this event, and agree to be bound by them. In consideration of acceptance of this entry, or my being permitted to take part in this event, I/We agree to save harmless and keep indemnified the Alfa Romeo Owners Club, the event sponsor(s), the Jockey Club of Kenya and their respective officials, servants, representatives and agents from and against all actions, claims, costs, expenses and demands in respect of loss, death or injury to myself howsoever caused, arising out of or in connection with this entry to my taking part in this event, and not withstanding that the same may have been contributed by the negligence of the said bodies, their official servants, representatives or agents.

2. I/We declare that to the best of my belief that the driver(s) possess(es) the standard or competence necessary for an event of the type to which this entry relates, and that this car/motorcycle entered is suitable and roadworthy for the event, having regard to the course and the speeds which will be reached.

3. I/We understand that should I/we at the time of the event be suffering from any disability, whether permanent, temporary or otherwise, which is like to prejudicially affect my normal control of this vehicle, I may not take part unless I have declared such disability to Kenya Motor Sports Federation and the Motorcycle Sports Federation of Kenya who have, following this declaration, issued a licence which permits me to do so.

4. I/We understand that it is a condition for my/our taking part in this event that I waive all rights of legal action against fellow competitors.

5. I/We agree to present a vehicle suitably prepared for the event and accept that the Chief Judges have the authority to exclude a sub standard vehicle from the competitors’ paddock, the motorcycle enclosure and from the Concours judging.

6. I/We agree not to bring alcoholic drinks into the car competitors paddock and the motorcycle judging ring. I/We also agree not to drink alcohol until the results have been confirmed at the end of the event.

7. While in the Nairobi Racecourse grounds I undertake to behave responsibly and I will avoid dangerous driving and bad behaviour.

8. I am a fully paid up member/temporary member of the Alfa Romeo Owners Club.

9. By participating in the Africa Concours d’Elegance, I acknowledge that photography, audio and video recording of the Event may occur and my participation thereof constitutes my consent to be photographed, filmed and/or otherwise recorded including my entry car or motorcycle and to the release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction of any and all recorded media of my appearance and that of my car or motorcycle, voice, and name for any purpose whatsoever in perpetuity in connection with the Concours d’Elegance and its initiatives, including, by way of example only, use on websites, in social media, news and advertising, and I waive and release any claims I may have related to the use of such recorded media of myself and my car or motorcycle at the event and/or during the preparatory stage, including, without limitation, any right to inspect or approve the photo, video or audio recording of myself, my car or motorcycle, any claims for invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity, defamation, and copyright infringement or for any fees for use of such recorded media.

I/We have read and understood and hereby agree to the various indemnifications and declarations printed above.
